      Rosso IGT Veneto

Castello Guerrieri Rosso is a grand reserve wine produced exclusively by Guerrieri Rizzardi and it represents the most ancient expression of the soil of Bardolino. The vineyard lies in the hills above eastern shore of Lake Garda. After harvest, the grapes are dried on racks for a few weeks and the vinification process is similar to that of Amarone in Valpolicella. It is a superb rich red wine with intense notes of ripe fruit and spice.

    • We recommend it to be decanted and served (16-18° C or 60-65° F) with roasted or braised meat, game dishes such as venison, curry based dishes or with cheeses such as Parmesan or Pecorino.

    • Ageing potential: over 5  years.
