The most ancient traces of grapevine cultivation in Valpolicella date back to the 5th century B.C. End of XIX Century, Valpolicella was called by the French "extraordinary italian wine". Our vineyards are positioned in the "classico zone", a cluster of small valleys, where vines, olives cherries, an excellent climate and many water sources predominate.
This wine has a complex nose, with notes of red and black cherries, spice and earth. This Valpolicella is dry, round and rich on the palate with good structure. Serve our Valpolicella with meat based dishes such as Italian appetizers of prosciutto, salami or cold pork. It can be enjoyed with entrees of pasta with tomato or meat sauce. This wine can also be served with grilled salmon, roast beef, lamb, veal or game and is excellent with delicacies such as tuna or steak tartare.
