In the center of the Pojega estate in Negrar of Valpolicella, the historic and spectacular Garden of Pojega lies surrounded by the vineyards and the olive trees of the estate. The garden was created between 1783-1791 for Count Antonio Rizzardi by the architect Luigi Trezza. It is the last masterpiece of Italian gardens: green theater, vistas, fountain and folly make it an elegant garden in a bucolic atmosphere. Open April 1 - October 31, Thursday and Saturdays between 3-7pm. Guided tours and wine tastings for groups by appointment only.
