The crafting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil has always been a natural expression of the land and a tradition of the Estate. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oils come from specific cru or sites, each resulting in a unique, limited bottling. Centuries old olive trees from our olive groves near Lake Garda and Valpolicella produce the following three Extra Virgin Olive Oils:

The annual production from our mature olive trees in the Lake Garda region, is 40quintals per hectare. These ancient olive groves are cultivated by hand, pressed and put in numbered bottles and labelled under the appellation of Garda DOP. Our Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil is very low in acidity and rich in chlorophyll. It is light, perfumed and we recommend it with salad, fish or even rice pilaf. Produced from Casaliva, Leccino, Frantoio and Pendolino Olive varietals. Packaged in 500 mL bottle with gift box.

Our olive groves located in Pojega and Calcarole Estates in Negrar in Valpolicella, yield a meagre, yet robust 15 quintals per hectare. The extra virgin olive oil Villa Rizzardi is harvested by hand and produced from the following olive varietals: Leccino, Frantoio and Grignano. The resulting oil is viscose, perfumed, with earthy aromas. We recommend this oil to be drizzled over grilled artichokes, cold meats or vegetable based salads such as fresh tomato and basil. Packaged in 500 mL bottle.

This special Extra Virgin Olive Oil is sourced from ancient olive trees in the olive grove of San Colombano, located on the hills alongside Lake Garda, in the district of Bardolino. This is a monocultivar Casaliva olive which is the prized varietal of Lake Garda. The olive pressing is not done with the traditional stone, but rather only the pulp is pressed, giving the oil its unique taste and texture. This oil is rich in fruit and nut perfumes, as well as aromas.
Packaged in 250 mL bottle with gift box.
